Mona Phillips was born in 1890. She was the granddaughter of Sophronia Young Phillips and niece of Hubbard and Harriet Perry. This letter to Lucinda Perry Tavernise was written in 1976. Mona Philips was 14 years old in the group photo of the birthday gathering for the 90th birthday of Sophronia Young Phillips taken in 1904 (below).
